Our Journey

Chronological Development Matrix

The Problem

You're Shipping Faster Than You Can See

AI writes the code. Pipelines deploy it. Nobody's watching what's actually being built. Not logic flaws or exposed secrets.. the architecture itself is becoming the vulnerability. Features ship clean. Structure silently breaks down. By the time anyone looks, the exposure is already in production.

The Research

Project Cortex

The research started with a simple question: what if AI systems were according to human brain? We studied how the prefrontal cortex orchestrates complex decisions under pressure, and mapped that architecture onto multi-agent AI. The result was a framework for autonomous reasoning systems. Cortex was its first real-world application.

The Development

Architecture & Engineering Core

We built the 7 agent orchestration system nobody asked for but everyone needed. static analysis, OSV.dev CVE intelligence, open-sourced free CLI, An orchestration layer that doesn't just flag issues it reasons about them. Every design decision pointed at one constraint: it have to run anywhere, have to hack the system like an experienced engineer, have to cost nothing to start, and should catch what other tools miss.

The Early Launch

MVP Launched on March 5th, 2026

We shipped on a deadline that mattered personally. Within days! our philosophy was to launch early, fail fast, and iterate. Real codebases were being scanned. Real vulnerabilities were surfacing in production repos that had passed every prior check. The CLI found its first users not through marketing, through developers sharing it because it actually worked.

The Validation

The Market Responded

Few paying customers before the first campaign. An inbound investment inquiry before the first pitch. Developers integrating it into CI/CD pipelines the same week they discovered it. Cortex wasn't adopted because it was marketed well. It was adopted because the problem was real and nothing else was solving it at this layer.

The Current Stage

Beta Trajectory / Talk, show, Fail and Iterate

Cortex is now expanding beyond the CLI and the 7 agent scanning engine into a white hat hacking tool, team dashboards, compliance reporting, and continuous architectural monitoring for enterprise pipelines. The open-core model is deliberate: very easy for a vibe-coder who is non-technical, local and free for the developer who needs it today, built for the organization that can't afford a breach tomorrow. But for now, cortex needs to build a network first.
